As Coco Chanel once famously said:
“If you were born without wings, do nothing to prevent them from growing...”
To help you fly, here are our top 5 benefits of taking part in a Challenge:
1. You get out of your comfort zone
The only way to truly push yourself to the next level is to break out of your comfort zone. If we accept we are only capable of what we are doing today then we would never take our fitness, health and life experiences to more than we ever thought it could be.Are you in your comfort zone? The space where life is comfortable, easy and swinging along? Okay, it is time for you to step outside the comfort circle.Real life and reward happens outside your comfort zone. Step out, connect with your real self and check in to see you are capable of much more than you ever imagined…
2. You learn to do something consistently.
“Jason does stuff” is a great blog about taking action (he calls his team/followers the Action Army). In his blog “What I’ve learned about 30 day Challenges” he makes the point that a 30-day Challenge is rarely about the task and more about doing something consistently. Exercising regularly creates a thirst for exercising. Stick to a consistent exercise routine for a month and you will create good habits going forward. But creating habits take more than a week – you need a good month to start changing your habits.
"If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.”
