Students have been asking us to add a ‘cardio’ barre classes to Aleenta for some time to combine a cardio workout with our traditional barre classes. We agreed, but wanted to make sure we created the best cardio barre class out there.

So we have created our own Aleenta Barre F.I.T. (Function Interval Training) class utilising key barre exercises in a circuit format. Barre F.I.T incorporates multiple stations of short high intensity exercise followed by little rest periods. The circuit is completed twice during the 45minute class. Our classes incorporate kettle bells, small weights and body weight exercises to create the maximum results in the minimum amount of time.
This high intensity class will transform your body, rev your metabolism and provide optimal cardio and weight losss benefits.
Interval training has been shown to be more effective in burning calories and increasing your metabolism compared to steady cardio activity. The thinking is that intensity – not duration – is the key to effective exercise for weight loss. These short bursts of intense activity combined with minimal rest periods will have those extra cms burning off in no time!
